Oh, now I see! Is the gravel "pea size" (1/4 inch-ish) or smaller?

If you don't have fish in there yet, cycle the tank with ammonia to 1 or 2 ppm. THEN add fish if your tank & bacteria can deal with it in 24 hours...That's what cycled means! But you still have to check your parameters daily for a while just to be sure.

I may have gotten impatient and thrown the betta and shrimp in the tank already... I’m going to keep a close eye on the parameters.

The pictures and instructions look suspiciously like those for my led strip. However...
100 lumens per foot is extremely low, I would almost think that is an error and it is much higher.
I checked mine it is a 60 led per meter, 26,25 lumen per led (975 lumen per meter)
with Epistar SMD2835 leds.
Like I said you would need 10 to 14 foot of these, and you'll be fine.

Looked around a bit and it seems the led strip you found is probably the SMD3528, the less powerful brother of the SMD2835. The quality also less, with the CRI rated at 80.

You're welcome Shrimp. Maybe that vendor has the stronger version as well as I think it is the same brand?

That looks like what I have. He does not list any specification to be sure though. Maybe check with him for led type and CRI?
