Skip the clown loach they can get to 12"+ and should be kept in groups. The silver dollars can get to about 8" so they should be left out also.

Your tiger barbs are going to rip the dollars' fins to pieces.

Silver dollars are *extremely* shy and timid and will become even more so as they get older. They need a LOT of places to hide and dim light. They grow from 6-8", depending on the specie, and they will grow very fast. Mine are about a year old and the biggest is over 4". They are also schooling fish and should be in groups of six or more.

Your tank is too small for dollars and tiger barbs are not a good tankmate for them. Please consider returning them.

Shouldn't you be posting these questions in the Newbie Forum? Seems you'd get more and positive responses. . . . just a thought .. . . .

I'm with Rosita on this one....

But in keeping with the info... I have read in the past that when kept in a group of about 6 individuals, tiger barbs become less interested in tank mates and keep their pestering amongst themselves.

I've never really been interested in tigerbarbs, so I don't have personal experience. Sorry.

and I think a flesh-eating parasite laid eggs in your brain.

WAIT, This is the idiot with all the inappropriate fish in the other tank right? Use the 29 gallon to separate out some of the inappropriate fish in that mess.

I hate to discourage people from fishkeeping, but I think some other hobby might suit you better. Like brickmaking. You could use your empty brain pan as a mold.
