New 29Gal, Ideas please

Just got my new 29gal fishtank, soon to fill it up with some Neon tetras, Glowlight tetras and, Clown loaches from my 15gal.

Heres what i need your guys help on. :help:
Im planing to use black gravel in my fishtank, and some dark grey rocks and caves and live plants.

Any one got pics of fishtanks with black gravel please post and keep it 56k friendly so i can get ideas of how it looks like.

And what else fish can i add to my 29gal that will make good tank mates?
Heres what i got in my 15gal ready to transport over.
Neon Tetra [3] geting 3 more..
Glowlight Tetra [3] also getting 3 more...
Clownloaches [4]

Tank size is around 12" x 31" and 15" high...i think some where around thos numbers.

Im going to be useing 2 Top Fin 30gal Power Filters

With 2large Amazon Sword plants and 8 Small that justed bloomed out of the larger ones.

Any other plants that are easy to take care of and nice looking that you think i should add? just 1 type of plants looks kinda weird, Im looking for somthing like grass for the bottom of the tank.

Thats all the qs i can think of for now, add more later.

I'm actually considering de-gravelling my 10G which has tan/white/brown gravel ...

My 55G has dark blue, and it brings out the fish so much better. I find any tan gravel dulls the fish's colors.

i did a 10 gallon and a 5 gallon in blue gravel and thought it looked decent. but i just did my seven gallon with black gravel and it makes your fish stand out way more. You would be able to see those tetras a room away!

Even though I have natural-tan coloured gravel in my aquarium, I think black looks really nice. A lot of planted aquariums use a really dark colour like black, dark brown, and earthy red.

I'm using black gravel w/black background in my 55g cichlid tank. My Salvinis really stand out against the black.

SAND! either the black stuff or regular play sand, your fish will thank you for it!

You realize that your 4 clown loaches will outgrow your tank, right? I don't have any pictures of aquariums with black substrate but think it's a great idea (although I agree with sand vs. gravel).

Yeah i just started thinking about sand...but how are they when it comes to cleaning?
