So I have wanted to get a 30 Cube for a long time now but a lack of funds have prevented me from getting a new one. And my luck for finding it used was thwarted for the longest time because of someone (You know who you are ) kept getting to them before me. However, after long searching last week I found a good deal on craigslist.

Anyway so here it is and what I have done with it so far. I only have stocked it with plants that I took from my 100 gal. Mostly Java Ferns, (if you saw my other tank then you know I had a few to spare. hah!) I am waiting for the order of new plants to come in this Friday at the place I work so that I can stock it up fully with everything I want.

looks awesome!! That driftwood is stellar. I am looking forward to updates!

That a Betta that had to get moved into the tank becasue his 2 gallon vase that he was in had been relocated outside becasue I needed a place for the 30. So it is a upgrade for him.

Nice upgrade :D, love the tank!

So anyone have any suggestions for plants to put in. It has a 96W light above it and CO2 so it should be able to handle all but the most finicky of plants.
I was thinking HC in the very front with Blyxia and Crypts for the mid-ground. Some Xmas or Willow moss to coat a little more of the wood with and for the background there is already some Crypt Spiralias in the left back corner (hasn't grown up yet but will quickly). I am thinking for the back some Apon Crispus with some red stems. Even though I hate stems I feel its time to move back to them.
