New 30 Cube.

I got a few Blyxa today and a Apon Crispus and they look great, waiting till friday to get more in to fill in the middle. For the very front I agree with you BK to move away from the HC. The Amano order is comming in soon and I think with my bonus I am going to spend it getting some Lilaeopsis nova "mini." It is a microsword that only gets to about a 1" max in height. If not those then I think some normal microswords wouldn't look to bad either.
 
:) Thank you Kygirl. However, I have a vision for this tank, and it demands more plants. And the tank will recieve the bounty of the LFS. heh.
Very good point BK. Hairgrass is another good option, and I like the stuff, first tank I had had Hairgrass in it. Ill probs get some of each and place them in, see what looks the best.
I just really like the looks of Microswords and their smaller counterparts.
I could maybe just do the entire front with Blyxa as well. Not really a carpet plant, but would give a great bush impression in the front.
 
Agree about the microswords...they take forever. E Angustifolious would be nice around the stumps as a middle ground with some crypt spiralis in the back.
 
What about a Micro and Hairgrass mix? I know one might out compete the other but I think a mixed carpet could look good if they do not overtake one another.
 
I have 3 Crypt Spiralis in back right now, they were new runners in my spawn and I am just waiting for them to grow up. They already are growing fast, after 2 days already have grown noticably.
