I just got a new 30g used tank. I have a 20g that has different community fish in it. For my new tank I would like to have a centerpiece fish (maybe a pair if it is a species that gets along). then if possible add a school of some smaller fish. Any ideas would be great.
Firemouth's and Kribensis Ive kept them in tanks together for years without a problem and they look stunning when in a well planted and well lit tank. The Firemouths have bright red bellys and the Kribs have amazing coours on their chest.
im not 100% sure but i think you should be able to put mabey a pair (only one pair) of Angels and mabey a school of Cardinals or some kind if tetras about 6 mabey or mabey a pair of the smaller type groumis ((SP?)) would do nicley
gouramis ( the 4-5 inch type) could work. Are you going to put in plants? And then maybe some white clouds or neons. And half a dozen otos to work on the algea.
is it a 30 long? or a 30 high? if its high, a nice pair of koi, or marbled angels would look awesome, with some smaller fish like cardinals, or glo lights, maybe even a few cories
