new 75 gal setup ?

Looks great. Nice job on the rock work. Can't really tell but you may want to point that PH up a bit to add some more surface agitation.
 
yay I was thinking the same thing about the powerhead. but the return puts out a lot of top flow. I am getting another power head for the otherside of the tank. I was thinking about the maxijet 1200 with the mod done to it. Thanks about the aquascape. I think it came out pretty good. I am getting rid of the diy overflow i built. I am going to get a cpr i think. I looses suction and it surges. i don't have much faith in it anymore.
 
if you're open to suggestions, I would encourage you to go with the maxijet and add a sponge filter to it. You have get a little bit extra mechanical filtration, but you have an instant biofilter if you need a quarantine tank.
 
cool thanks for the info. The homemade overflow is in the front yard at the moment. It lost siphon and almost flooded the house. Glad i was at home. I now have a cpr overflow and it is a 100 times better and the tank looks much tidier now with all of the pvc out of the tank.
