18 views and only one post? c'mon guys, you can do better than that

This might be a dumb question, but do you need to house frontosa's in pairs. I just recently got one myself, but i am hearing they dont do so well by themselves.

they do well in groups, but they can be housed alone

Thats great news i was kind of scared since someone told me earlier that both the frontosa and the duboisi should be bought in pairs and if not they will slowly die..thanks for the help. These forums are a really big help.

Beautiful! Which of your tanks does he live in? They are really awesome looking fish and I'd love to have a group, but I just don't have a big enough tank. :)

IMO, they do better in groups, it keeps them calm

however i know people that have just one and they do just fine

he's in the 40gal for now with a kribensis, im moving the krib to my 55 in a few days, and then i plan on adding 4 more fronts, keeping them in the 40 until they outgrow it, then moving them to a 150 long
