New Addition: monster convict!

well..only "monster" because i have never seen a 7 inch convict before

not everyone is a fan of cons, but they pretty much sparked my love for cichlids back in the early 90's..so i can never pass up on a nice one
and this guy is HUGE so..

he's a little ragged, he was with a pretty big RD at the LFS

i was in shock also, my heart pretty much stopped, i've NEVER seen one over 4 inches in person..and the 4 incher that i did see..is in one of my tanks now , i thought i'd never see another 4 incher..and then this bohemoth comes along

Im a fan of Cons.Thats brute you have.Im sure he can hold his own against bigger Cichlids.My LFS has two huge male Cons ,glass banging,and flairing gills,so cool.Great massive Con there!!

no doubt he can hold his own, i have a 4 inch male in with jags, dempseys and o's and he's challenges all of them lol..and they could'nt care less...lol
