I am not 100% certain. I had applied for shipping permits for them and was denied. I may petition to have it re-evaluated. If not, I will look for local ways to rehome them if necessary. If not, I will freeze the clutches in order to have population control.

Huh - this is interesting. Do you mean that you can freeze egg clutches, then thaw them? The eggs/babies will remain viable?

No, freeze them to kill the babies unfortunately. I think its more important to be able to house responsibly. I don't have enough room for hundreds of spixis, so i will control the population by not letting all the clutches hatch if I don't have homes for the baby snails.
