New and Old Corals

More new pics. The guy we got the first batch from has decided to go strictly SPS and the really exotic zoanthids, so we got a few more for cheap. The Candy Cane (Acan, right?) was only $45 and it's got 9 heads, 4 of whic are dividing.

Candy Cane - I love this thing.

It's a 45 gallon pentagonal tank. We've got a 96W PC light (both 10k and actinic). Two power heads, one with a sponge filter and a HOB aquaclear 70.

About 45 pounds of live rock (now, it was 40 pounds of dead rock and 5 pounds of live rock to start) and almost 60 pounds of live aragonite sand.

It's been a slow, long road, but this weekend really made it all worth it. The tank is almost 6 months old.
