After my 10 gallon tank is cycled and hopefully my betta and 3 dwarf frogs survive it :( what other fish are compatible with the betta? I saw some zebra danios, that looked pretty cool (AND QUICK!) and some white clouds looked cool. Does anyone have any other suggestions. I definatly do not want to overstock this tank as it is not that big. Also, is it better to have more or less plants? I have two real ones that aren't that big, and four semi smaller artificial ones. Should my betta have more places to hide? He seems perfectly content swimming back and forth back and forth spirting forward across the front of the tank in the openess(usually when I come over to the tank -Little Showoff! ;) )

Cories cories cories!
Thats my recommendation.
Pygmy cories if possible.
Add plants if you want them, as long as he's content, it should be fine.

Wow, I saw those before. They're pretty funny looking. They mostly stay at the bottom though and I have dwarf frogs. How about somethin that swims around.
Pygmy cories will swim around much more than their lager cousins. They will occupy the middle to bottom of the tank and school well.

Neons or harlequin rasboras would work. Neither are fin nippers so they should leave the betta alone. They are schoolers though so you should have around six of them if you get tone of them (6 neons or 6 rasboras). The only problem is that with 6 extra fish you may be pushing the bio-load. I am also not sure if the frogs may decide to dine on the neons.

I'm doing the exact same thing. I have my betta George, 1 neon tetra and 2 panda cories and 1 albino. They are in a 10 Gal.

Other suggestions I got from people before are Otos, zebra danios, ghost shrimp.

Cories are tons of fun mine swim all over the place. :D
eventually in maybe a month I'll get some cardinal tetras.

The ghost Shrimp I see at the LFS can be pretty fun to watch also.

I personally would advise against zebra danios with a betta. I don't know if they would nip a bettas fins or not, but they are so active and crazy the betta would be stressed much of the time by them.

I don't know how much the frogs add to the bioload compared to similarly sized fish, but whatever you decide, just be careful not to get too overstocked. I know you'll make the right decision since you're doing such a great job researching everything :)

Another thing to keep in mind is that as you add new fish, you will see a "mini-cycle" (ammonia/nitrIte spikes) again. If you'll add only one fish at a time, it will help a lot and you shouldn't have to be doing as many water changes. Just keep an eye on the levels and wait 1-2 weeks before adding the next fish. It's hard to be patient, trust me I know :D
