New Betta

Can I put an earthworm in the tank for my betta, as long as it's a small worm? It has recently rained outside and they are EVERYWHERE. Just curious. Also, I have some hermit crab food from when I used to keep them. All it is is 100% dried whole shrimp according to the label. Is that something I can feed my betta and corys?

Cut the worm into smaller pieces so it doesn't get lodged in the fish's throat... and be mindful that any garden, lawn, or rain-borne chemicals could be in the worm's bodily system. It should be fine if treated only as an occasional treat, but if your fish seem sick afterward, discontinue it and it'll probably run it's course and be released from their systems.

The hermit crab food sounds like it could also be an 'every now and then' snack you could offer. Just check the ingredients and make sure it isn't treated with any metals or has any strange filler ingredients, I imagine... but shrimp is good for both bettas and cories, for future reference.

LOL. Nice, you are now in my notebook, labeled "Destroy." LOL:dance2:

Just know that Karma will come and get you. J/K

Ah, men. What will they think up next? Oh, that's right they don't think.

Oh, and "easier" would have been a better term. Why not not use technology to your advantage? That takes true smarts. Thats what separates humans from most animals, we use tools. Think about that.

so you are a woman i was just kidding but that was a good one check some of my other posts i'm very funny
