New betta

:iagree:He looks like one I almost bid on with aquabid, but he was like $12-15 and then shipping would have been another 15.00. Very beautiful betta though. Do you plan on breeding him?
Maybe it is the same one - I did get him on Aquabid. With S&H he was $47.
I know, I know. I know it's nuts to pay that for a betta, but our other one died (old age) and the kids fell in love with this one. I will say that he's much larger, younger, and zippier than the ones we've gotten at Petco/Petsmart (and obviously prettier). So if he hopefully lives 3+ years, he'll have set us back 4 cents a day. Or at least that's what I keep telling myself

If you divide $47.00 by 1095, he will cost $00.04 a day.
