Hi im new to this web site and i was wondering if i could get some feed back about my new fish, a bicolor blenny? I have a 10 gal with a percula, 2 red leg crabs, feather duster, and a realtiveley small colony of yellow poloyps. I just added the blenny about a week ago in hopes of helping to control my algea a little, but i really havn't seen him do much of anything. I now they are supposed to be laid back, but i have only seen him out of his spot once, and i have never seen him it. Although he doesn't seem to look stressed out im still concerened if this is normal or should i be a little worried?

Agreed, 10 gallon is small for the stock listed.
Bi colours are not notorious algae eaters. they will graze on the glass and rocks but they are not like Algae blennies who specialise in eating algae. Hair algae for example is only tasty when very short, as hair algae gets long most fish simply dont want to eat it. Perhaps if you have long algae then how about scrubbingit until its short and then maybe it will help manage it better.
Lastly. Also check water perameters as algae will thrive on nutrients such as Nitrates and phosphates. If these are zero then its hard for algae to grow.

I had a pretty bad hair algae problem, but after i added my blenny i realized that i had been leaving the light on for to long during the day due to school and work. So i got a timer cleaned my tank well and there is only just the normal algae one would have in a tank. I was really trying to ask if anyone new if it was normal behavior of my blenny to almost never coming out of his hiding spot. I have never even seen him eat!
