New Black Ghost Knife

I've read that BGK require a minimum of 125g. If this is true are you prepared to set something like that up?

BTW, I am sooooo jealous! I love those fish but I can't commit to having a huge tank. :(

Good luck with him, you will have hours of entertainment watching him.

WOW!! That's a really COOL fish.

Heh, I raised a silver arrowana from two inches to three feet long... Yeah, I've got no problem stepping him up to big tanks when he starts outgrowing little ones.

I've bumped my tank up to 79 degrees to be more in his comfort zone. So far, he's only eating bloodworms, brine shrimp, and guppler fry. But when the scent of the cubes hits the water, he's a black dart in frantic action. Any idea how I can get him interested in flake or shrimp pellet? I'd like his diet to be as varied as possible. I feed in the evenings, so I know the fry are going to be gut loaded with flakes, but I wonder if that's enough?

I've also tried handfeeding him bloodworms, but he's too franticly searching everywhere (including my hand) to actually find the ones I'm holding. Also, the gupplers loooove meaty foods, so the whole tank is going brezerk.
