NEW CAMERA NEED HELP.

Well im in the hunt for a new camera, im not very talented nor do i need a camera that cost $23423423423 that takes professional pictures. I'm just looking for a camera that will take decent clear pictures. I have set myself a budget of around $300.00 Anyone have any ideas?

^ good choice. I nearly picked up one of those before I splurged for my D70. I probably would have been better off with the S5 but my D70 gives me room to grow.

Take a look at Canon's SD series. They're quite feature packed for their size. There's a few with Image Stabilization (IS), which would be really helpful with those macro shots.

The SX100 is categorized on Canon's website as being an "high-end advanced" camera, so I figure that's probably best of the 3 you picked. But it really depends on what you're looking for in a camera and what you'll be using it for. I would suggest reading up on review sites like www.dpreview.com or www.steves-digicams.com to help you make a decision.
