Is marineland coming out with a new canister series?

Yes marineland does have new cannister filters out. So far though I don't know anyone who has tried one, but they look like good filters to me. They are kinda pricey, but from what I understand the body of the filter is metal. The weirdest thing for me is seeing a marineland filter that doesn't have the bio-wheel attachment.

probably. these may be the replacments for the Mags so Marineland can compete a little better with Eheim, Fluval, Rena, Cascade, and Hagen

im pretty sure when the magnums first came out there were no bio-wheels, then the deluxe version came with bio-wheels. Same will happen here. Of course you could just buy the bio-wheel part and attach it to the outake of the canister

If they want to do that, they had better stop charging such high prices...their model which is comparable to the Rena XP3 is almost double the price. And I doubt it does much better if at all.

Mag 350's have been out for 30 yrs, basically in the same shape/look, until the recent advent of unproven bio-wheels.

This new "C" series just seems to be an attempt at looks for competition with newer designs.
