Yesterday, I bought the remaining 3 Black Kuhli Loaches (Pangio javanicus or Pangio oblonga) from the LFS for $1.99 CAD each. They look so cool, although I would've liked it better if they had the Banded Kuhli Loaches (Pangio kuhli) for $1.49 CAD each (the same that I currently have). I guess I just have to wait for some to become available.

The tank will be a bunch of fun, now that the lone Banded Kuhli Loach has 3 new friends :)

i'll be acquiring some kuhliis soon.. i have to find a suitable sponge for my filter intake though. those little guys can get into ANYTHING.

I'll try to get some pictures with my camera tomorrow. Hope I'll be able to get a picture that's of reasonable quality.

The fattest one (the banded kuhli) isn't able to slip into the slits on the filter intake of the AC50, but the thinner black/chocolate kuhlis would be able to get in. I too would need to be extra cautious about that and find myself a sponge to put on the end of the filter intake.

The tank will be inhabited with White Cloud Mountain Minnows, Harlequin Rasboras, a group of 3 Banded Khulis and 3 Black/Chocolate Kuhlis and a gourami for the top.

I have tried to take some pictures of them, but their hide-out is so dark that I'm not able to take any good pictures with my not-so-good-anymore camera. Anyways, I decided to video them with the not-so-good camera :D

In the first clip, they don't seem to be as visible as I liked them to be. The second clip show them better with their little heads peeking out of the cave made by the driftwood.

I just increased the brightness a bit. As I said in the post with the pictures of the molly/guppy hybrids, I'm really sorry if the quality is not all that great. Also, I'm sorry for the shaky video capturing skills :S

Hope you enjoy.
