I just switched my Fluval 304 to a Fluval 405. I moved the filter media to the 405, so no loss of bacteria. Lots more water turnover.
It is very cool watching the fishies purposely swim into the current (outflow nozzle is aimed at side, back of tank). They get into the current and swim there, then swim off. Very cool to watch!
One of the reasons I did this is so I can bring my 37g back into the house. Husband doesn't think there's room. hum....just move the video cabinet and there it goes! I get to bring the old one in! Gotta get going. My new angels need a place to live! I know I only have a short time span to get them into a new home. They have already grown from nickel to quarter size in about 3 weeks.
