New fish boy,please help

i havent kept fish for many years and am starting again with coldwater.
i have got a 30 litre tank and want to keep celestials and borneo suckers,how many of each could i have in this size tank please?

You need at least 10 gallons for a celestial and the suckers would need that as well. How about white cloud mountain minnows?

I second the white cloud minnows. I saw them this weekend in prson for the very first time and was I impressed. I think you ought to check them out.

many thanks for taking time to reply,i have read a bit about them and seems a good idea. one more question,how many do you think i could get baring in mind they seem to reproduce fairly easily from what i read?

They are egg scatterers but the young and eggs will probably be eaten by the parents so you dont need to worry about breeding. Provide a few clumps of elodea for them to swim in and you could get a nice shoal of 8 in your tank
