All i know is they have very big mouths.

Well, Typo, let's see if I can do a better job than last time you asked for an ID (remember, I spazzed on the dafodils). I'm thinking something in the Luciosoma genus, like an apollo shark - Luciosoma spilopleura - they are in the carp family and related to rasboras. Here are a few links - http://fish.mongabay.com/species/Luciosoma_spilopleura.html and http://fins.actwin.com/species/index.php?t=9&i=217 and http://badmanstropicalfish.com/stats/cyprinids_stats/stats_cyprinids3f.html - I hope this is helpful (and accurate!).

well, yes, this is what they are..
the 'apollo shark'. But, i have 3; one site says shoals, one site says keep alone. They seem to like to stay together, the 3 of them. Should i return 2, or what? :frown: they have big mouths, thats for sure. but they havent eaten the baby convicts in there. oh well.

The majority of information I have seen says they want to be in groups - but, they do get big and need some room - do the gypsies see any larger tanks in your future? ;)
