New fish, please help me decide :)

I looked in your sig for a pic of the tank Blinky....saw pics of your SW tanks, but the 10gallon planted doesn't have a pic on it.

You probably have more lighting on that tank than you need for the plants you have, but if they're doing fine and you aren't having algae issues....no problem !

No algae issues, it's actually a pretty bulletproof tank. I fertilize once a week after a 25% water change and top up if I need to halfway through the week. It's a nice little tank, it just feels empty now and I wanted to do something to revitalize it. Still can't decide, but I'm sure when the right idea comes along I'll know :)

Here's an old pic, sorry it's not in my sig link I forgot about removing it :o The Java fern is about twice the height in the centre, otherwise nothing's really changed.

Wow! That is the most beautiful 10g I think I have ever seen! No kidding. Still looks like a betta/snail tank to me though lol.

:) well thank you!
I may just take the easy road and leave it as-is, get a new betta and a few kuhlis/rasboras and call it good. The original idea was to have a little Southeast Asian themed tank with Java moss, Java fern, Anubias, Malayan bogwood, male and female bettas, a Singapore wood shrimp and Malayan trumpet snails. I cheated with the otocinclus catfish - there don't seem to be any teeny algae eaters from Asia (at least not readily available). It's a nice little tank, I was just thinking of going a different route; then again, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? :D

Get a blue Lobster! Na i'm kidding, but they are entertaining. I have one in a 10 gallon right now. A betta or kuhlis would be cool.

Pseudomugil gertrudae, or Spotted Blue-eye

I linked the pic from Emg's site. Hope she doesn't mind. It's from the Rainbowfish Home and they don't like you linking to their pics.

They grow to about 1" and are very active. They would LOVE that tank. Add a sponge filter and some java moss and they'll probably breed for you.

Just a thought,
Roan

I'd go for either option C, or option B but swap the dwarf gourami for a honey gourami. Some will disagree, but IMO a ten gallon is a bit small for a dwarf gourami.
