new fish question again

hey all most of u will be happy to know i put the blue gill back in a pond i wasnt going to keep him in the 10 gal tank when he got big neways but he was to agressive kinda how i thought he might be but i have another fisht that i found but im not sure what it is...i think it could be a trout i have a few pics that arent that good ill get better ones if yall need em

I was the one that cought it and i thought it looked alot like a trout. it is a yellow gold color that has a rainbow shimmer when you move it in the light.

Not a trout

I have seen a lot of trout, including juveniles. It's not a trout. Clearest sign is lack of par marks and the shape. I would say possibly a golden-eye???

actualy its more silver than nething with the yellow gold rainbow shimmer (rainbow only in the sunlight)

Looks like an Arkansas golden shiner to me. Very popular bait for fishermen.
