New fish Tomorrow!

Well congrats Snoop! You've been waiting so long to get to this point!
Sorry the first stocking was a little disappointing....but practice makes perfect!!! LOL! And I agree with Rach, definitely feed all your fish with that medicated food. It just makes good sense all the way around.

Thanks Pinkertd. I started them on the med food today. I want to make sure what I did get is as healthy as they can be before putting them through shipping. I am sure anyone who does this gets their good shipments and their bad. Hopefully, more good than bad.

The good news is, of the fish I did get, the only die offs have been hatchets. The Rams, Green Fire, Orange Hatchets, Golden Dwarf Barbs, and Nics have all done well. The Silver Hatchets that are left seem to be doing much better. I think the ones that died were weak in the first place and the shipping was just too much for them. I don't think any of the fish are diseased but, I am continuing the med food just to make sure they are free of any problems. Looks like a sale thread next week.

Let me know when I got dibs on a pair of Rams! Congrats on them surviving!

Very Nice

Yeah they do. I have to watch to make sure my 4 year old does not try and feed them on his own. My daughter wants to get in the larger tanks and "swim with the fishes"!

I remember back when i was little, and our outdoor pond was too shallow to allow us to keep the fish in it through the winter we would drain it every fall. We would then take the fish and put them in the 4 55 gallon tanks in our basement, and thats where they would stay for the winter. That was also where i would stay for the winter haha.
I think id try to swim with the fishies too :headbang2:Your kids are gonna be fish crazy too!
