New fish

.... hate to tell you.. walmart has the worst of advice ever... and diseased fish ( 95 percent of the time, but it verys from walmart to walmart ) black moores can attain 8 inches easily.. sometimes 10 inches ( not unheard of ) and needs a bigger tank then the one you you. let me put it bluntly.. say you are 5 foot right? would you want to be in a bathroom thats only 6 foot tall by 6 foot wide? sure you could survive, but your body would have some defects though.. sorry if this is sounding harsh, but i thought i would let you know.. dont trust 99 percent of any chain stores ( walmart. petco/smart )

and welcome to Aquariacentral! just upgrade your tanks and put the kois in a pond :) get a 75 and 55 ( put the black moore in the 55 with a friend and the comets in the 75 ) and you should be set.. did you ever cycle the tanks before putting fish in? and how often do you do water change? with goldfish, i would recomand twice a week water change.

Goldfish are silent killers, they will slowly add ammonia to your tank and kill everything. I you want a goldfish keep lots of plants and you need a 55+ gallon tank.

I do not have room for a 75 gallon 65 is my limit no bigger then that. I am new at this goldfish thing. I do want to move Sadie to a tank but I am worry Dory will eat her if I move her to the 10 gallon were Dory she is in. Dory I thin ether a 9" or 10" she is really big I do not want anything happen to Sadie. Midnight is 2 years old she has been the same size for 2 years know.

well your going to have to get rid of all the goldfish besides the black moore then.. and put the black moore in the 65 ( add one friend if you want to )

OH and another FYI, the one inch per gallon rule is false ( if anyone told you about this ) if it were true, then a 12 inch oscar could be in a 10 gallon ( DONT do this, i am just trying to give you some pointers ) but a oscar wouldnt even beable to move in a 10.. so erase the one inch per gallon from your head lol. ( just letting you know )

No I am not getting rid of them,I am attach to them.I look on line they said 10 gallon per fish and the 5 I have is fine. I have a goldfish book to help sorry the answer is no not getting rid of them.

.... well your just going to run into more problems ( my area are cichlids, but i do know quite a bit about goldfish ) the black more will not beable to attain its full growth in a 1 gallon or 10 gallon..... same with comets, and the kois... they will attain 2 to 2.5 foot.. but will not in a 65 either... please just do the fish a favor and upgrade there tank to a 75 and 55 and the kois in a pond or get rid of them and get fish suitable for your tanks you currently have.....
