Here's my new little guy... Deffinatly a male, his tubricles (sp?) were showing... tee hee hee!

I'm pretty sure he's a Shub... what do you guys think? Am I right? he was in with the leftovers of the Koi and Comets the store had for pond season. I know he's neither of those.

If he's a Shub I would love to get him and my female together before spring... I know I need to adjust the water temp to get them to spawn but I don't think I have anything big enough for her she's maybe 6-8 inches and he's 3-4... hmm.... where's McGuyver when I need him?
 
Thanks, I was 98% positive he was a Shub, which is why I bought him. If I had a big doubt, I would have passed him up. Him and my female will make beautiful babies!

Please excuse my crappy fish filming skills. lol.
 
Def. a Shub.

He won't mind if she is a liitle bigger than him.
 
Yeah, some guys do like bigger ladies... lol

Neighbor has a big tank he isn't using, gonna try to borrow that for the winter to breed them sooner...
