Same with me... I like simple designs with fewer parts than tons of tiny parts that can malfunction. I'm always paranoid when they mix electronic components to things that don't really need it.
I wonder why they didn't list any of the specs in the trailer. In my opinion, that's the most important rather than how nice it looks. Considering that most people put their canister filters somewhere hidden, I don't think it really matters what it looks like...
The built-in conductivity meter seems cool if it works. I'm not sure how accurate it's going to be since everyone's tap water is different, and some people add salt to their tanks.
Its going to be interesting seeing how a $600 fluval is going to compare against getting 2 $300 eheims... :bowing:
Wow, but look how small a tank they have it running on. Why would you pay so much to filter such a small tank like that? Sounds a bit crazy to me. But sereously cool design and the ability to check the parameters!
