One thing about this tank, well it was a salt water tank at first...... cleaned up and now fresh and all is well. Ok I was getting tired of the noise the overflow made and after read about putting a smaller hose in to help it breath, which did not work. I also read install a ball valve but did not want the work, not yet. I ended up putting small sponges tie to a string down the pre-filter and works great. I do know with this that I do need to clean these sponges with every water change. But I think this will work and allow me to keep my sump vise canister.
