Hi Everybody!
Just wanted to introduce myself.
I live on the Oregon Coast, and I'm married to a wonderful, talented musician!
He really doesn't 'get' my aquarium obsession, but he's very tolerant!
I had a stroke 7 years ago this past May at age 47.
My left side has been paralyzed since then.
I do pretty well for all that though...
I can walk (with a quad cane) and can shower myself.
As my sweet husband says, 'It is what it is, but it ain't what it use to be!'
I think he said that he borrowed that line from a song he knew.
Presently, I only have 1 (14 gallon) freshwater tank.
I really interested in trying to grow some live plants,
so I have some Java Fern and a few other sorts.
Even though my first aquarium was at age 10,
I have MUCH to learn.
This current tank I've had for several years.
It started when my youngest daughter went to college,
and decided that mom should take care of her fish.
Her angel and shark grew too large and were traded to my LFS
for various other critters.
1 male Betta and about 10 ghost shrimp are the current denizens.
The ghost shrimp are a bit hard to keep up with!
