New Geophagus pair

Cool deal keep in touch with me on this i will try to go..

Yep your right i remember now it was Pedro LOL that was funny as hell, i was like you aint no way i am sticking a fish down my pants :)

Switched out the pair they are in their own 40gal long now to breed, before they were in a 56gal with a pair of Angelfish and the Angelfish got their own 40gal long as well.. Let the breeding begin.. Now to fill the 56gal LOL..

Well crap i left a lid open briefly and the female decided to jump out but the worst part is that i didn't realize that she had jumped out and when i was walking in to feed i accidentally stepped on her, she lived for about an hour and then i lost her, the sad part is that if i didn't step on her she may have pulled through..

So does anyone need a nice large male Red hump Geo or does anyone have a spare female..

Thanks Armand yeah i have a colony of Rainbowfish and Goodeids in there now so i will probably find a new home for him.. He is a nice male and good size..

Thanks Larry i appreciate that, as for these guys they really do some sifting i wouldn't recommend gravel at all for these fish, fine sand not just by experience but on line recommendation as well.. I wish you were closer i would give my male to you.. As for gravel they were in a 56gal with medium size gravel they did ok but had a hard time grazing..

Yeah i did the dirt substrate one time really didn't like it much but the fish did, I may do one as well down the road, take care man..
