New Green Spotted Puffer Owner - Seeking advice/help

It's better not to net them in order to move them. They can puff up with air in the process and they can't un-puff. The safer bet is to scoop them into a container and move them that way.

very good choice gettin them a new tank, you'll see happier puffs in no time now. i would use the 5 g to breed some snails, the puffers will love you for it :D

oi...30 still isnt enough for 2 gsps. its better than the 5, mind you, but the odds are pretty good that one will die just due to stress. however, if you take one back, that 30 gallon will be a perfect home for it for its entire life

...just to add to inkyjenn, two GSPs won't get along after a while in a 30g. They are loners and get quite agressive (to put it lightly) with each other as well as other fish. A 55g would do well for two. Just add some sight barriers and lots of things for them to explore. Just a thought in case you don't want to give one back. You will love the little guys.

make sure you get some snails in their for snacks as well. :] you gotta wear down their beaks. its like grooming but for puffers!
