New Guenie rainbows?

Would you put (is it ok to put) New Guenie Rainbows with (2) Rasbora Tetras and Guppies?

LOL...yes.

30 gallon tank. I think there are about 10 guppies. 6 females and 4 males. (I let nature take it's course with Fry)

I can get some rainbows for free.

I too want to add more rasboras, but the wifey want some more color.

Oh, there are 4 dalmation mollies in there too.

scrap the mollies, the CAE, and get 3 rainbows, and add 3 more rasboras.

what's the scientific name for new guinea rainbows? I'm having trouble finding them...oh here it is...Melanotaenia affinis?

M. affinis - New Guinea Rainbows get to be 6" and are too large for a 30 gallon. Especially since they should really be kept in groups of 3 or more.

You could put 3 praecox (dwarf) rainbows with no problem. They only get to be 2-2.5".
