New Guenie rainbows?

I am going to have to agree that new guinea rainbows are too large for a 30 gal. especially because they need to be in a group like Nola said...

M. affinis - New Guinea Rainbows get to be 6" and are too large for a 30 gallon. Especially since they should really be kept in groups of 3 or more.

You could put 3 praecox (dwarf) rainbows with no problem. They only get to be 2-2.5".

i wouldnt put them in anyway, for you are going to need six to ahve a proper school and your tank cant support that many because of all of the guppies

3 is fine with rainbows. Six isn't a magic number. I don't get why people don't use 5 or 7. Anyone know?

If you still want rainbows go the dwarf neon (praecox) route...as Nola suggested.
