Well I need help to identify my new baby fish. :help: I saw them in my aquarium today. I have some pictures but they aren't the greatest. Here is one:

Feel free to look through the other pictures. I also need to know what to feed them etc. I can offer pictures of all the adults in the big aquarium if you want me to.

This forum looks really nice:)

What kind of fish do you have in your tank?? The babies kinda look like guppys.

It would help if you told us what adults you have in the tank. Do you know what type the adults are? For now you could crush up some flake food really fine and sprinkle in with the fry.

If you dont know what the adults are then post pics and we could try to help you identify them

Welcome to the forums!!!

A livebearer of some sort. (Guppy, platy, swordtail, etc.)

I have some Molly, Guppies, Tiger Barbs, and some orange fish that resemble Mollies. I also have goldfish, two eels, and some algae eaters.

Well..its either the Molly, Guppies or the orange fish that resembles mollies (that more than likely a platy btw)

Ummmm...I don't want to be negative but you really shouldn't have goldfish (cold water) in with the tropicals (warm water). Plus some of the others (the eels) may end up snacking on the rest.

What size tank do you have?

ummmm..... to me, I'd be more inclined to say they are platy or swordtail (these are probably the orangefish that look like Mollies). They seem a little big to be guppy fry if they are brand new.

Also, I should note that hopefully these fry are the only fish in the tank that you have on your site as all those other fish wouldn't fit well in it..... looks like a 1 - 5 gallon acrylic, no?

Well the one tank I have the babies in is 2 gallons. The one with all the other fish is 65 gallons. I never knew that goldfish couldn't be with the tropical fish! They have been in the same tank with the other fish for along time. The eels aren't too big so they don't pose much a threat right now, but once they get older I'll try to remove them. Thanks for the help:)
