New here, need advice on seahorse tank

I think I will probably start out with a clownfish tank with anemones, Think I might wait on coral unless I can find some easy ones. I think I'd like to add a few other types of fish too but I don't want to overdo it.

As for the seahorse tank I think I'll collect the things I need to get it running, over the next few years so I can get the experience with a reef tank before I try a seahorse one.

So what kind of equipment should I be looking for? Is there anything besides different shrimp and copepods that they eat? I already breed brine shrimp for my frshwater tanks.

If you are just starting the clownfish tank you won't want to have anemones for at least 6 months. They are highly sensitive and require more care than most corals. I would go with some soft corals and polyps to start. You can still have clownfish as they don't need an anemone to survive and be happy. Many won't even accept an anemone if offered.
