you can connect these inline tds meter to a closed loop circulating water . these are industrial grade meters. In my opinion inline tds meters are more accurate vrs handheld.

Oh I am sure they are. I just needed a low cost ($22) hand held to get a reasonably good idea of what my TDS is in my tanks, water conditioner, and tap before conducting water chnages so I don't kill my fish. The hand held also doubles as a very handy temperature meter to verify tank and tap water temperature which can very by as much as 25 (80-105 F) degrees F.
