I'm looking to rehome my 6" red-finned shark. He's currently in a 29 gal tank. I'm hoping to place him into a 125 gal tank with:

- 8 blood parrot cichlids, about 3-5" each
- 3 bala sharks, 3-4" each
- 1 blue channel catfish, about 4"

Will he fit in here? Potential problems?

I really dont see him fitting in there comfortably. They are pretty territorial plus I think you are overstocked to begin with. those are some pretty big fish you are talking about

I completely agree with Mattskims,

1. The balas will get to about 12" long if not longer.
2. Sharks + Sharks = don't mix.
3. You do have quite a number of very large fish already. You probably should get another tank or give him away.

Actually I am looking to give him away. I was hoping to give him to the person with the 125 gal tank. Guess that won't work out. I still have the option of taking him a LFS but I'd prefer to find him a new home if possible. That way I'd be sure he would be in a better environment than I can provide. Anybody in the Annapolis area who can give him a good home?
