New Hood/Lights for my 55

nope no plans........I just made a frame that would sit onto the 55, then turned it into a 3D box and then just put 1/4" plywood over it. I then had to cut out the back a little to fit two filters, one on each half. Added acrylic inside of the frame to keep the water from the lights. I made the plywood hang over the sides of the tank to hide 1/2 of the black frame of the tank. Its doen't open but I can move it myself. No Marine Ply Just regular 1/4". The acrylic keeps all moisture as of right now, from the lights. For my larger tank I'm gonna make the frame fit the outside measurements of the tank with some type of stop to make it sit on the tank. It will open, most likely from the front and at least 3-4 places. That tank is going to be 8' so the hood will have to be workable if I want to do water changes and feed the fish add fish and such. Beacuse I won't be able to move it myself.
