Just got them two days ago. They are itty-bitty, about 1 inch, and absolutely ADORABLE. They're still a little skittish; check that, VERY skiddish, so it was tough to snap shots of them. I did the best I could. Maybe later on after a week or two of getting used to the tank and my ugly mug on the outside of the tank, they'll come out and pose. :)

This is the best shot I got of the female...she didn't want to pose today.

Here's a blurry shot of the male...

A little clearer...

And here is his hiding in the plants after I scared the crap out of him with the flash.

They have PLEEENTY of room. It's a 10 gallon tank. I'm planning on letting them breed naturally. Whether that yields fry or not is up to nature...well, simulated nature. :p:

I'd like to get them some tank mates at some point, but I figure I should let them grow a little bit first. They're still tiny. I might also just hold off on tank mates and let their eventual fry occupy the tank.

Man! Crop those pix next time! :)

They look like they're about the same size as the chocolates I got recently. Mine are finally swimming out where I can see them.

I did crop them. I made them 800x600 and cut out some of the extra tank that was captured in the shots. I wanted you guys to get a sense of their size, so I left in some of the surrounding tank for scale.

I ordered Gold lyretails, but I can't tell yet if these are chocolates or not. Evevn if they're not the gold lyretails I ordered, I've still fallen in love with them. :)

nice fish! the male resembles one i had several years ago... looks like an aphyosemion(spelling?) australe.... they are cool little dudes that do like to hide but are gorgeous! good luck with em!
