it is two inchs now how long before he is big enuf to eat my bloodfins?
 
how much time do you think i have? trying to get another tank now.
 
I can see only the pictus and upside down catfish will really not be devoured but may still be harassed. I'd get a tank in a month or less. The sooner, the better.

i just got 2 more little jds.
 
i had 2 2" jd s in a 10 gallon with 4 tiger barbs for about 10 minutes before the jds starting muurdering the tiger barbs..
 
My 2" JD ate three 1 1/2" tiger barbs this weekend....
 
i have a 5" JD and his tankmates are 8 tiger barbs, 1 pleco, 2 black convicts m&f, and 3 bala sharks and they all have loved each other from the beginning, no violence other than the occasional face to face showdown........but i have been really lucky with my communities and their inhabitants
 
yea you are very lucky my jd s were after the full grown tiger barbs the minute they were in the tank. the barbs were bigger than the jd s!! lmao
