New LR inhabitants...

What types of living things (big enough to see with your bare eyes) would you EXPECT to find on new live rock? I've seen a couple of feather dusters and a few other things that look alive so far...but I have no idea where to even start to identify anything...but maybe if I could look up somethings that are commonly found, I'd have a starting place.

Also, what type of creatures should I be on the lookout for that might be considered "bad"? I already noticed one snail that came along...but before I could grab him he disappeared and I haven't seen him since. I've read that some snails might be undesireable and might be more apt to spot things if I know what I'm looking for.

I was going to start a thread on this. I just took a few pictures. Everyday something new emerges from my TBS LR.!! Today it's some kind of spiney urchin looking thing!! So far the little octo was the biggest suprise.

If I get some time tonight, I will try to post some photos of the stuff I have found over the years. Sponges, tunicates, clinging crabs, feather dusters, pistol shrimp, hairy crabs, ark shells, and much more will come in with the rock, depending on where it's from. Just pulled the final (I hope) mantis from the TBS shipment I got in August.
