2) I don't have any REALLY vertical slate? Is that gunna be a problem?

3) I bought 8 angelfish, and they are probably 10-11 months old, does this mean it's too late? I only have 4 left, the other 4 died of other causes, like fights and stuff, one actually got completely eaten.
