I am thinking of starting a marine tank, but I'm really unsure of how to do it. I've been reading up as much as I can but many things are not clear to me (all guidelines seem to be directed towards people who already have a general idea what do to - it's kind of like trying to read a recipie when you've never cooked before).

Does anyone know of a good website that has easy step-by-step instructions that I could start looking through (I won't be setting up till March), as well as a list of everything I'll need, and maybe an idea of how much I would spend?

I saw a cute little tank set up at a small fish supply store in my area - it was maybe a 6-8gallon, with lots and lots of live plants, some little spotted shrimp, a weird star fish and of course a cute little clownfish. I'd like a similar setup to that, because it was so beautiful. I've got plenty of experience with your basic molly/tetra, cichlid, and betta setups, but that<s it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
