I started with a fish tank for the usual community fish, after 4 years, I thought I'd try something new, Mbunas.

I don't have any mbunas in there yet but its a good start, kinda like a journal.

When I first brought the tank 4-5 years ago

Don't mind the fish in there, they will be gone by this weekend. The rocks are limestone, the tank is 55 gallons ran by an Eheim 2217 and a HOB filter.

All criticism are welcomed!

I personally think I need more rocks, and stacked higher, but I won't be buying any rocks in the near future (its too far) So I guess I'll have to live with this for now!

thanks for the comments! One thing I really like about the tank is how clean it is, the water is crystal clear, I never experienced this in my previous tanks before!

I unfortunately cannot post any pictures of my old tanks because they are taken down, I used to keep guppies in the 55 gallon and would save the frys and put them in the 10 gallons. I took down everything and sold all the fishes. The remaining fish in the tank now will be sold in the very near future.

I have a few more plants, I'll just add them to the tank later.

another good thing about the tank is I can sleep at night, the rock structures look pretty secure and I don' have to worry about it falling over. However I think adding more rocks and stacking them even higher will make the tank look better.

thanks for the input guys! I'm really excited to try mbunas!

Really looking good! Nice work.
