I've never used a Red Sea Hang on so I can not comment. I've Used the Prizim, The Knop, The CPR Bak-pak, The Remora Aqua-c Pro. I prefer the Remora Aqua-C Pro. I would not use a Prizim again unless heat in the tank was an issue. The Knop and the CPR are about equal in between the other two. I would chose between the Knop and CPR based on price.
