Hi all,

I'm a new member here. This website is great. Little bit about myself:
I have been keeping discus for many years now and believe discus is the king of fresh water aquarium.

I find discus is hardy fish even though many people believe they are fragile and weak. As long as people follow the rule of the thumb in discus keeping, I'm sure they will succeed at no time.

Any discus fanatics here? Please share your expertize in discus keeping at

I agree that discus are hardier than people think...after all, they are cichlids. If you keep them within some general, basic parameters and do lots of water changes, they will do fine! Also, the more variety you can get them to eat the better.
