New Mudskipper pics :)

i'm having a hard time keeping a straight face imagining a massive dinosaur skipping along a mud embankment

*giggle*

Do you have a full tank shot? A friend of mine is looking at getting a tank and setting it up for mudskippers.

This ought to cover it! :lipssealedsmilie:

Thank you Rich!

I just kind of winged it, imagining what I would like if I were them
How SICK is that? :)

OOOHHHH that face! Seriously, how hard are they to keep? What should I know if I decided to start a tank for them? and lastly, how hard are they to come by?

I'm being totally honest here
They are EASIER & less work than my other fish.
I have ammonia right out of my tap, & I don't have to add ANYTHING to their water as they aren't in it much at all

I have 8 gal of water total, & add 2 cups of Ocean salt to get a SG of 1.010. I do a 50% wc every 2 weeks, & replace evaporated water w/o salt
I keep the water at 79 degrees, & a glass versa top to keep the air inside warm.

I feed frozen blood worms, frozen brine shrimp, cooked mussel meat, & crickets

I am gonna have to check into getting a set up going and getting some.....My hubby thought they looked cool and my 2 little ones (7 and 3) think they are just wayyyyy neeaaattt mom! Tomorrow I will get in touch with the closest LFS I have (30 min away) and see if they can get them. Other than that it would be online. Do you know if they travel well?
