new nano

I still havne't gone SW yet, but I posted aobut starting a 3G not too long ago. Here's what I discovered. A 3G is a fine choice, but due to it's size it would be highly unstable; evaporation can be a severe problem. At best you'll be able to have one VERY small fish. A 3G tank is probably as or more expensive then a 10-20 with a light and filter.

Those are the bad/not so good points. But that doesn't mean it's more expensive overall either. Live rock adds up quick. Lighting adds up quick. The big ticket items are what kills you in a larger tank. Sure the cost per gallon may be less, but the final price will at best be the same.

I have to admit though, I started adding up all the costs on the 3G idea. I still hit a few hundred, and that was without livestock. I think a larger tank would be more enjoyable. I also hear people like Japaneese cars (sorry, I'm a GM freak).
