Well I'm not sure whats wrong with your oscars eye but a picture will help, also how much oscars do you have?how big is the tank?and how big are the oscars? and the new tankmate is put with the oscars then yes it'll get beaten and harrased.

the tank is a 60. the biggest oscar is about 6 inches and the new one is the same size. can't get a pic to you but i have looked at it again and it a white film that is getting worse quick. have two oscars adding another one

My blood parrot had the same thing on her eye. It was caused from fighting with another parrot and it started healing up after they stopped fighting. If your oscars eye problem is caused from fighting then you should take him out before it gets worse. Also a 60 gallon tank is way to small for 3 oscars, one of the oscars can go in the 60. You can probally try two oscars in a 60 but a 75 or bigger will do better.

 It's definitly normal for 'territorial' fish to harrass & ultimitly kill a new addition when there's insufficient 'living' space. 'O's need 40/50gls. each & then there's no guarantee they'll get along. The eye injury could have come from fighting or bumping into something trying to get away ('O's are clumsy!) It also could be aggravated by poor water conditions! Suggestion : Move injured 'O' to another tank to heal (either yours or LFS). Upgrade to 120gl or better w/ adequate filtration if you plan to keep 3 'O's. Best of Luck!!
